Back to school

    Hellooo!! The count down to the end of the year has started and before we leave 2015 I wanted to show you one of my favorite outfits of this season. As you might know, denim skirts and buttoned skirts are one of the trends of this season. I specially love this one because of it's "A" shape and the vertical seams which both have a slim effect. It's so girly and so 70s that I couldn't resist combining it with a cropped pullover, black mocassins and this cute maroon bag in a schoolish outfit. I just added some golden details to get a chic touch and my new long black coat in an army style (which I absolutely love!! :) ) to get a cool contrast with the soft air of the look.     ¡¡Holaaa!! La cuenta atrás para el final del año ha empezado y antes de dejar el 2015 quería enseñaros uno de mis looks favoritos de esta temporada. Como imagino que sabréis, las faldas vaqueras y las faldas abotonadas son plena tendencia esta temporada. Me encanta ésta en especial por su forma en "A" y las costuras verticales que en conjunto tienen un efecto estilizante. Con ese aire aniñado y ese estilo setentero no pude resistirme a combinarla con un jersey corto, mocasines negros y este precioso bolsito-cartera en granate en un look muy colegial. Añadí algunos detalles dorados para aportar un toque chic y mi nuevo abrigo negro largo de estilo militar (¡¡que no me puede gustar más!! :) ) para conseguir el contrapunto molón al aire delicado del look. ¿Qué os parece? ¿Os gusta? :D

    Hello girls!! How's your Christmas going? Hope you're having a great time with your family, friends and the people you love :) Did Santa Claus brought you some presents? :) Me, I have to wait until The Three Kings come, hehe, but in the meantime, I've realized that I had pendant to show you the second part of my fall/winter new ins. As you can see, they're all comfy and practical items. Most of them I've already worn them, so you'll be seeing them in the coming outfits ;) Which one is your favorite?

    ¡¡Hola chicas!! ¿Cómo están yendo vuestras Navidades! Espero que estéis pasando buenos momentos con vuestra familia, amigos y la gente a la queréis :) ¿Os ha traído algunos regalos Papá Noel? En mi caso, me toca esperar a los Reyes Magos, jeje, pero mientras tanto, me he dado cuenta de que no os había enseñado la segunda parte de mis adquisiciones de otoño/invierno. Como podéis ver, son todo cosas cómodas y prácticas. La mayoría ya me las he puesto, así que os las iré enseñando en los próximos outfits ;) ¿Con cuál os quedáis?

Autumn colors

    I love how the streets get colored in autum! with all those beautiful big yellow and brown carpets... For a sunday walk, I chose this almost total army green outfit, except from the white shirt and pullover. I like the contrast it makes with the army green, adding a special light to the look :)

    I combined it with my beloved khaki suede boots that you've already seen a lot of times here and matching bag, plus my new ethnic maxi scarf to introduce a funny touch of color ;) I'm so inlove with this kind of maxi scarfs! They're so warm and cozy to avoid freezing in those cold days, the same time as they help us in getting a stylish and chic outfit. Could we ask for more? :) What do you think about this look?     ¡Me encanta cómo las calles se llenan de colores en otoño! con esas enormes y bonitas alfombras amarillas y marrones... Para un paseo de domingo, escogí este outfit casi por completo en verde militar, a excepción de la camisa y el jersey blanco. Me gusta el contraste que crean rompiendo con el verde militar y aportando una luz especial al look :)

    Lo combiné con mis adorados botines de ante en caqui que ya habéis visto un montón de veces por aquí y bolso a juego, junto con mi nueva maxi bufanda con estampado étnico para añadir punto de color divertido ;) ¡Este tipo de bufandas me tienen loquita! Son tan calentitas y abrigosas que son el complemento perfecto para no congelarse en esos días de frío, al mismo tiempo que nos ayudan a conseguir un outfit estiloso y chic. ¿Qué más se puede pedir? :) ¿Qué os parece este look? ¡Estoy deseando leer vuestros comentarios! ¡Feliz día!     Good morning!! It's crazy that Christmas is here! I love this time of the year, being with family, meeting friends you haven't seeing for a long time, lights and ornaments, Christmas mood... :) That's why, apart from the typical Christmas tree, I like to decorate my home with other little details to feel the Christmas spirit :) . Today I show you two easy DIY proposals I have done this year to decorate my home for Christmas, mixing some natural elements which alwas add a warm feeling and help us making our homes cozier in this time of the year.

    ¡¡Buenos días!! ¡Parece mentira que ya lleguen las Navidades! Me gusta mucho esta época del año, estar con la familia, los reencuentros con amigos que hace tiempo que no ves, las luces y los adornos, el ambiente y el espíritu navideño... :) Por eso en casa no pueden faltar los adornos navideños, jeje. Además del típico árbol de Navidad, me gusta poner algún detalle más para sentir el espíruto navideño en cada rincón :) . Hoy os enseño un par de propuestas de DIY de adornos navideños muy sencillos, mezclando elementos naturales que aportan esa sensación de calidez y nos ayudan a hacer nuestra casa más acogedora en esta época del año.

Sparkling blue

    Hello girls!! Now that Christmas is just around the corner and the time of celebrations is aproaching, here I show you an easy and chic outfit with an elegant touch, perfect for those Christmas dinners or lunches with family, friends or colleagues from work. Just a pair of black skinny pants and and special top such as this one, plus some chic accessories and voilà! :) When we took this pictures we were going to have dinner out on a saturday night but for a special event such as the coming ones, I would change the flat english shoes for a pair of black pumps ;) In fact, I've already done it for a birthday but I didn't took any pictures and I think I'm doing it again soon for a Christmas dinner, hehe.

    One thing I wondered about this top when I got it was if it could be practical because of the mix of the thick fabric and the short sleeves, but the thing is that I find it perfect for this kind of events in winter because the thick fabric keeps you warm, the same time as the short sleeves are perfect to avoid becoming overheated at a party full of people ;) The best part is that you just need a cozy coat and a scarf and maybe a pair of gloves to go outside, avoiding carring on with lots of layers which is alwasy awful.

    ¡¡Hola chicas!! Ahora que la Navidad está a la vuelta de la esquina y que llega el momento de las celebraciones, aquí os enseño una propuesta sencilla y resultona con un toque elegante y chic, perfecta para esas cenas o comidas navideñas con la familia, amigos o compañeros de trabajo. Simplemente un par de pitillos negros y un top especial como este que os enseño, junto con algunos accesorioes chic y ¡voilà! :) Cuando hicimos estas fotos ibamos a cenar un sábado por la noche pero para un evento especial como los que se avecinan, cambiaríar los zapatos planos de estilo inglés por unos salones negros ;) De hecho, ya he llevado esta combinación en un cumpleaños pero no saqué ninguna foto y la verdad es que creo que repetiré pronto en una cena navideña, jeje.

    Una cosa con la que dudaba sobre este top cuando lo compré es si sería práctico por la mezcla del tejido grueso y las mangas cortas, pero la verdad es que me parece perfecto para este tipo de eventos en invierno porque al ser gordito no pasas frío y al mismo tiempo la manga corta hace que no te mueras de calor si vas a un local lleno de gente ;) . Lo mejor es que por encima sólo necesitas un abrigo abrigoso y un pañuelo y tal vez un par de guantes para salir a la calle, evitando tener que cargar con un montón de capas, que siempre es un rollo.

My first Nike

    It might seem that the title of this post it's because my new pair of Nike sneakers recall my first pair, but although it may seem incredible, they actually are my first pair of Nike! :P . I've alrady had other sneakers from other brands previously and it's true that these new ones have a vintage air that reminds me the ones I used to have when I was a little girl, all in white, and that's what I specially love about them :)

    Moreover, white sneakers are so trendy now and different from other colorful sneakers I have (such as these ones I showed you in this other outfit), I think as they're all white they match with everything! so I can't wait to combine them in so many different outfits I have in mind, hehe. In this outfit, apart from the sneakers and my new black mini-leather that I introduced you here, I show you two other new ins from the treasures I found at the flea market, remember them here?.     Puede parecer que el título de este post se debe a que mi nuevo par de zapatilas Nike recuerdan a mi primer par, pero aunque parezca increíble, en realidad ¡son el primer par de zapatillas Nike que tengo! :P Había tenido otras zapatillas de otras marcas anteriormente y es cierto que estas nuevas tienen un aire que me recuerda a las que solía tener cuando era pequeña, todas en blanco, y eso es precisamente lo que me encanta de ellas :)

    Además, las zapatillas blancas son plena tendencia ahora mismo y a diferencia de otras zapatillas de colores (como estas que os enseñaba en este otro outfit), creo que al ser todas en blanco ¡combinan con todo!, así que estoy deseando combinarlas de mil maneras diferentes que ya tengo en mente, jeje.En este outfit, además de las zapatillas y mi nuevo mini-bolso de piel que os presentaba aquí, también os enseño dos de las adquisiciones que os enseñaba en este post de tesoros en el rastro, ¿os acordáis aquí? ¡Espero que os gusten las fotos y que tengáis un buen día! sobre todo aquellos en España ya que ¡hoy es festivo! urrraaa!! :D Besitos.

    I can't believe we're already in December! Christmas is just around the corner and although I'm a little overhelmed about how fast these last months have passed, I'm happy because I love this time of the year :) I think I will try to find some time during this weekend to put the Christmas tree and prepare some home decoration to get on the Christmas mood, hehe. New babies

    Good morning!! I'm sorry for being away these days... I'm very busy lately and I've missed you, but I come with some new things that I've bough recently, basically on the Internet and that you'll be seeing in my coming outfits ;) Are you ready? Here we go! :)

    ¡¡Buenos días!! Siento haber estado un poco ausente estos días... ando bastante liada últimamente y os echaba de menos, pero vengo con algunas nuevas adquisiciones que he hecho últimamente, básicamente por Internet y que os iré enseñando en los próximos outfits ;) ¿Estáis listas? ¡Allá vamos! :)

Double denim

    Denim fabric is one of the trends of this season. In fact, I would say has never been out of fashion, but now it comes strong not only in jeans, mini-skirt and jackets but also in shirts, coats, overalls, jumpers, long skirts, etc. and mixed in different shades. I loved this shirt mixing dark and light shades of denim when I saw it in the summer sales and altough I had to wait for autumn to come in order to wear it, it has worth the wait, hehe ;)

    For this first outfit I made up my mind for an almost total denim outfit, with these skinny jeans and kakhi accessories, adding also a mix of textures with the suede boots. I also added some delicate golden jewelry in a vintage style to break a little with the casual air of the look and get a chic and personal touch. What do you think about this denim look? and you, do you like mixing different denim clothes in your oufits? :)

    El tejido denim es una de las tendencias de esta temporada. De hecho, yo diría que nunca ha dejado de estar de moda, pero ahora llega con fuerza no sólo en vaqueros, mini-faldas y chaquetas, sino en camisas, abrigos, monos, petos, faldas largas, etc. y mezclando diferentes tonos. Esta camisa que mezcla tonos oscuros y claros de vaquero me encantó cuando la vi en las rebajas d verano y aunque tuve que esperar a que llegara el otoño para poder estrenarla, la espera ha merecido la pena, jeje ;)

    Para este primer outfit me decidí por un outfit casi todo en vaquero, con estos pantalones pitillo y accesorios en caqui, añadiendo también una mezcla de texturas con los botines de ante. También añadí algunas piezas de bisutería delicadas y de estilo vintage para romper un poco con el aire casual del look y conseguir ese toque chic y personal. ¿Qué os parece este look en vaquero? y vosotras, os gusta mezclar diferentes prendas denim en vuestros looks? :)

Fall / winter new ins (I)

Sweatshirt / Sudadera : Pimkie (s/s 15)

    Hellooo!! I'm sorry I've been a little away these days... I'm going through a high peak of work, but I'm still trying to squeeze my timetable and find some time to post ;) . Today I show you the first part of the things I've bought for this season. Most of them are from the summer sales, as I like to pick some interesting things when I find them, although having to wait to wear them, because when fall comes I'm so happy with those great purchases! hehe ;) Do you also do the same? :D

    Some shirts and a black dress for work, a pair of basic skinny pants in different shades, a few cozy sweatshirts (the one with the world map I've already shown it to you in this recent outfit) and of course, some trendy stuff, hehe. And you, what have you bought for this season? :)


    ¡¡Hola holaaa!! Siento haber estado un poco ausente estos días... Estoy pasando por un pico de mucho trabajo, pero sigo intentando exprimir la agenda al máximo y sacar algo de tiempo para publicar ;) . Hoy os enseño la primera parte de las cosillas que he ido comprando para esta temporada. La mayoría son de las rebajas de verano, ya que me gusta comprar cosas interesantes cuando la veo, aunque tenga que esperar a ponerlas, porque luego cuando llega el otoño ¡me alegro un montón de haber hecho esas compras tan buenas! jeje ;) ¿Vosotras también hacéis como yo? :D

    Algunas camisas y un vestido negro para el trabajo, un par de pantalones pitillo básicos en diferentes colores, unas sudaderas abrigosas (la del mapa mundi ya os la adelantaba en este outfit recientemente) y cómo no, algunas prendas de tendencia, jeje. Y vosotras... ¿qué os habéis comprado para esta temporada? :)

Spring in autumn

    It seems that autumn doesn't want to come... It's incredible that these pictures from last weekend were taken in November!, isn't it? The so called "Saint Martin little-summer" has brough us warm temperatures, so I decided to wear my new navy blue and white checked shirt. I love its oversized shape, the clean pattern of the checks and the vintage cut of the sleeves, a little longer than the ordinary short sleeves, so 70s, so trendy this season! ;) hehe.

    I matched it with these soft sea-green skinny pants that you might remember from this other outfit from last year, to add a little light to the outfit. The risky and chic touch is this black and white chanel-like mini bag. I'm not very used to match different prints in the same outfit, but I like the result maching these two checks in different sizes!     Parece que el otoño no quiere terminar de llegar... Es increíble que estas fotos del pasado fin de semana ¡sean de mes de noviembre!, ¿no creéis? El llamado "veranillo de San Martín" nos ha traído temperaturas muy suaves, así que decidí ponerme mi nueva camisa de cuadros azul marino y blanca. Me encanta la forma holgada, el diseño limpio de los cuadros y el corte vintage de las mangas, un poco más largas que las mangas cortas convencionales, con un rollo muy setentero, ¡en plena tendencia esta temporada! ;) jeje.

    Decidí combinarla con estos pantalones pitillo en color verde-mar, que tal vez recordaréis de este otro outfit del año pasado, para aportar un poco de luz al outfit. El toque arriesgado y chic lo aporta el mini bolsito de estilo "achannelado". La verdad es que no estoy suelo combinar diferentes estampados en un mismo look, pero me gustó mucho el resultado mezclando estos dos cuadros en diferentes tamaños. ¿Qué os parece? How I FALL into the new season

    Hellooo!! As you might have seen on my Instagram (@yocivi), two weeks ago I went on a short trip with my boyfriend and two friends to Morocco. There was still summer weather there, but when we came back to Spain we found ourselves in real autumn weather. That's when I realized it was time to do the typical "seasonal wardrobe change", hehe. I think that when autumn comes, there are some things that we like to do or that we unconsciously do to FALL into the new season. Here are the 10 ones in my case.

1. Thinking about squeezing my wardrobe mixing clothes from different seasons trying to get different an unexpected outfits.

2. Start wearing more brown and land colors.

3. Try and buy new teas and infusions with different flavours. I love to accompany my sofa afternoons and nights at home with a hot cup of tea! :)

4. Switching my nailpolish from coral and light colors to magenta, red and darker shades.

5. Search for new stuff for home which make me feel cozier and warmer when it's cold outside, such as new cushions, photo frames and new paintings with cool pictures and positive messages, beautiful decoration objects, new can boxes (I've already told you that I love them here! :P), fragrant candels...

6. Light an incense stick.

7. Cook chocolate sweets such as muffins or a chocolate sponge cake.

8. Thinking about new DIYs ideas I can do.

9. Stop to think about how I want to organize my time and set a routine to priorize the important things and achieve a healthy and happy way of life.

10. Thinking about a possible change of look, such as a new haircut. If you're thinking about changing your hair color, you can try this hair dye advisor page from "Madison Reed", a hair color company that has re-engineered permanent color to give women everywhere a healthier, high performance option at home. They also have shampoo and conditioner as well as a few styling products as well. I have to say that I've never dyed my hair and I'm not thinking about it, but I find this application interesting if you're thinking about it or just to enjoy some time doing their test ;) .

    ¡¡Holaaa!! Como tal vez habréis visto en mi Instagram (@yocivi), hace dos semanas hice una pequeña escapada con mi novio y un par de amigos a Marruecos. Allí todavía hacía tiempo de verano, pero cuando volvimos a España nos encontratmos ya en pleno tiempo otoñal. En ese momento me di cuenta de que tocaba hacer el típico "cambio de armario estacional", jeje. Creo que cuando llega el otoño, hay algunas cosas que nos gusta hacer o que inconscientemente hacemos para adentrarnos en la nueva temporada. Aquí os dejo con las 10 que hago yo en mi caso:

1. Pensar en exprimir mi armario para mezclar prendas de diferentes temporadas y conseguir looks inesperados y diferentes.

2. Empezar a llevar más prendas marrones y en tonos tierra.

3. Probar y comprar nuevos tés e infusiones con diferentes sabores. ¡Me encanta acompañar mis tardes y noches de sofá con una buena taza caliente de té! :)

4. Cambiar los esmaltes de uñas en tonos coral y colores claritos por magenta, rojos y tonos más oscuros.

5. Buscar nuevos complementos para casa que me hagan sentir más cómoda y agusto en casa cuando hace frío fuera, como nuevos cojines, marcos y nuevos cuadros con bonitos dibujos y mensajes positivos, objetos de decoración bonitos, cajas de lata (ya os había comentado aquí que ¡me encantan! jejjeje :P), velas aromatizadas...

6. Encender una barrita de incienso.

7. Cocinar dulces de chocolate, como magdalenas o bizcocho de chocolate casero.

8. Pensar en nuevas ideas de DIYs para hacer en casa.

9. Pararse a pensar en cómo organizar mi tiempo y establecer una rutina para priorizar las tareas importantes y conseguir un estilo de vida saludable y feliz.

10. Pensar en posibles cambios de look, como un nuevo corte de pelo. Si estáis pensando en cambiar vuestro color de pelo, podéis probar la página del asistente de coloración de pelo de "Madison Reed", una empresa de tintes de pelo que ha reinventado la coloración capilar para proporcionar a las mujeres de cualquier parte del mundo un pelo más saludable y una coloración de alta duración en casa. También tienen champú y acondicionador, así como otros productos de belleza. Tengo que decir que nunca me he teñido el pelo y tampoco estoy pensando en ello, pero la aplicación me pareció interesante si estáis pensando en ello o si simplemente queréis entreteneros un ratillo haciendo su test ;) .

Boho vibes

    Good morning!! I have to say that I'm not very used to wear long skirts. I feel a bit weird in most of them but I think this one has a kind of slim-fit cut, maybe due to it's soft and delicate fabric and it's military green color, which I love and I think it avoids the typical shorten-effect that most of this kind of skirts have.

    I decided to combine it with this navy blue tee with a 70s cut that I've already shown you with a mini skirt in this other outfit, remember? To emphasize the boho style of the skirt I chose my brown leather clogs and my new brown indian mini-bag with golden beads. Finally, I added this cute navy blue pullover (remember it from here and here?), which is one of my favorites, to keep warm. What do you think about this look?     ¡¡Buenos días!! Tengo que decir que no estoy muy acostumbrada a llevar faldas largas. Suelo verme un poco extraña en ellas pero creo que esta tiene un corte que estiliza bastante, tal vez por su tejido suave y delicado y por su color verde militar, que me encanta y creo que evita el típico efecto de parecer más baja que suelen hacer la mayoría de este tipo de faldas.

    Decidí combinarla con esta camiseta azul marino con corte años 70s que ya os había enseñado con una mini falda en este otro look, ¿os acordáis? Para enfatizar el estilo boho de la falda escogí mis zuecos marrones de cuero y mi nuevo mini bolsito indú con abalorios en dorado. Por último, añadí este bonito jersey azul marino (¿os acordáis de él aquí y aquí?), que es uno de mis favoritos, para no pasar frío. ¿Qué os parece el look? ¡Espero que os guste y que disfrutéis del finde! :D Besitos!

Stripes can be boho

    Hellooo!! Today I show you and easy and comfy outfit made of basics: a pair of jeans, a laid-back grey tee and this beautiful blue and white striped jacket, which is the special piece of this look. It love its navy stripes and the fringes which make a mix between a boho and chic style adding personality to the outfit. I combined it with blue pointed flats to be comfy, plus my matching blue mini bag. What do you think? What are your special clothes to raise an outfit? Hoy os enseño un outfit cómodo y sencillo construido a partir de básicos: un par de vaqueros, una relajada camiseta gris básica y esta bonita chaqueta de rayas, que es la prenda especial de este look. Me encantan sus rayas marineras en azul y blanco y los flecos que crean una mezcla entre un estilo boho y chic, añadiendo personalidad al outfit.
