How to DIY a lace dress

Hellooo! Today I show you a DIY that I've been wanting to do for a long time but I didn't find a suitable garnment to proceed with it. You just need a lace strap, a thread, a needle, some pins, a pair of scissors and the garnmet you want to add a lace touch. I chose this loose black dress with strips and a cris-cross neckline but you can also choose a skirt or a top, for example.

¡Holaaa!

First of all, we align the lace strap with the lateral seam of the dress in its inside.

Next, we extend the strap all around the bottom of the dress and fix it with the pins to mark where we have to sew and avoid stretching the lace strap or leaving it too loose.

Then we start sewing, passing by the thread over the seams of the botton of the dress, so that at first sight we don't see any new added seams.

Once we have sewed all the lace strap to the bottom of the dress, we have to join the to sides of the strap together. To do this, we slightly put one side over the other, again in the inside of the dress so that it's not visible from the outside and we sew the two sides to join them together.

And voilà! Here we have our new lace dress, ready to be worn! :D .
